Lazy Evening

I'm trying to think of what to write. It has been a little bit and not because writing isn't fun (I like it) but that nothing too interesting has happened. But that is good actually. That is a big change for me, so I figured tonight I would just relax.

I've been so busy this past few weeks and so unbelievably stressed but as of today all that is done. I just got finished with school and I'm home from my internship. It has been raining all day long. Mom and I (mostly Mom actually as I was drowning in school last week) planted most of the garden, so it's nice it is getting rained on. I'll make a garden post soon as the rain stops so I can finish up planting some veggies that had to wait a bit longer.

I was thinking about doing some art tonight but I was not in the mood to focus that much. I think I want to do a landscape but I also want to paint wildlife. I guess I am kind of planning this out. I have a wood duck colored pencil drawing I really want to finish as well as an idea for a collection of "Illinois Inspiration" I want to try and start...and no it will not draw any fields as that is a lot of Illinois, I don't want my art to be corny (dad joke lol).

Photo I took of a Bald Eagle

I have a great photo to go along with this great verse, "But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint." -Isaiah 40:31 I get asked OFTEN how I have ambition and the energy it takes for me to do all the things in a day and it's because I ask God for it. This verse describes my everyday life. My hope does not come from vitamins or eating healthy because that is not lasting and we have ice cream, but Jesus is bigger than all that and he is who I put all my cares on, and he always delivers. But, tonight I think I'm alright to pause and take a break. After all, resting is Biblical, too!
