Savory Swedish Meatball Recipe

This is the recipe I make for all major events- my Wedding reception, Christmas parties and...I created it myself!



Lets get to it! This recipe takes about an hour to make.

Meatballs:

2 pounds of ground meat (beef or venison) 
2 eggs (1 per pound of meat)
1 crushed up package of club crackers- sometimes it takes a little more
3/4 TSP kosher salt
2-3 TSP black pepper 
3/4 TSP parsley
1/2 TSP oregano
healthy sprinkle of tony chachere's creole seasoning

1) Preheat the oven to 350 degrees
2) Mix all the ingredients 
3) ball it up and bake in the oven for 30 minutes

Sauce:

2 cans cream of mushroom soup
1/2 C. vegetable broth
1/2 C. milk
Sprinkle of flour
1 cube of beef bouillon
1 onion chopped finely
1 TSP garlic powder
2 TSP parsley
1/2 TSP oregano
1 TSP butter

1) Sauté the onions in the butter, as they golden up a little add 4 TBSP of soy sauce for color and flavor and a few drops of Worcestershire sauce; sprinkle with a little bit of garlic powder
2) Add in everything else
3) Cook until it is all warm
