County Fair

 

I decided to participate in the Gogebic County Fair this year. Unfortunately, it had to be held at the community college as the fair grounds were under construction this year. I entered every category and was actually- besides one other piece of art- the ONLY artist who entered. So, because of that I won- however- it doesn't really feel like I won...it doesn't really feel honorable. Still, it was fun to participate and give fair goers some art to look at. 

The Bible verse I have chosen for this is : "He has filled them with skill to do every sort of work done by an engraver or by a designer or by an embroiderer in blue and purple and scarlet yarns and fine twined linen, or by a weaver—by any sort of workman or skilled designer." -Exodus 35:35. Now weaving isn't what my artists trade is but I think it is worth noting and appreciating that it is God himself who gives us these skills to create beautiful things.
